Pavement Reclamation

The "Reclaimer" is the heart of the FDR asphalt recycling process.

It grinds and mixes existing road material with additives to create the new base.

FDR makes Interstate 81 stronger.

The new base built with FDR will help ensure the new surface lasts longer.

The FDR process utilizes a number of specialized machines.

The machines all work together to grind, mix, add, grade and compact the new base.

FDR is used to rebuild busy parking lots.

The lot is rebuilt in sections to minimize disruption to customers.

FDR is used to rebuild runways.

No matter the surface or application, FDR can make the base.

FDR is an environmentally friendly process.

FDR reduces emissions and the need for new material.

Full Depth Reclamation

Cheaper, faster and greener

Our reclamation services give engineers and builders the ability to recycle the original materials used to construct the road. This means they can utilize the materials they already have while having less of an impact on the environment.

Rather than mill and dump, the reclamation process recycles much or all of the existing asphalt back into the base with additives like lime or cement. Many studies have shown that rebuilding asphalt pavements with FDR increases the lifespan of the rebuilt road. Re-using exiting material will also save construction time as well as reduce project costs. The process also benefits the environment. Studies have shown that mining and trucking less material around greatly reduces total emissions.

Our experience includes both transportation and building construction projects. In fact, we've helped build and rebuild everything that gets driven on - from streets and highways, to parkways and byways, to schools, office parks and shopping centers.
